A shopping centre in Manchester has been shut down after three people were stabbed inside.

Police confirmed a man, 41, has been arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of an act of terrorism.

An investigation is being led by Counter Terrorism Police North West, a GMP spokesperson said.

One witness wrote on Twitter: ‘Three people just got stabbed in the Starbucks in Manchester Arndale and it’s all been evacuated.

Five people were hurt during the attack Friday at the Arndale Centre in Manchester. Thee of the injured needed hospital treatment but none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Police arrested the 41-year-old man (whom they refuse to name) ... {{meaning we know for sure it is not Harry Smith}} .... on a charge of “the commission, preparation and instigation of an act of terrorism.”

The incident revived uncomfortable memories of another attack in 2017 only a few hundred meters away. A (MUSLIM) suicide bomber killed 22 people after targeting a concert by pop star Ariana Grande at Manchester Arena.

Since the terrorist attack at Police HQ of Paris earlier this month, 27 police officers from the Paris prefecture alone have been reported radicalization.
The news comes as reports of radicalization among police have skyrocketed in recent times, French broadcaster BFM TV report.

On October 3rd, four police officers were stabbed to death at police headquarters in Paris by a police IT expert, whose office colleagues failed to notify their superiors about unsettling changes in his behavior.
