It's Mental Retardation!

I'm not a fan of The Clash at all, but 'Rock the Casbah' gets enough airplay on the radio here, and I'm sure everywhere, so we all know this song.



Right at the end of the song there's a line that has sounded to me like "It's mental retardation!" for as long as I can remember...  Only two nights ago did I actually Google the lyrics, and I now have no idea why I heard what I heard.  I never really thought about it before, since it's an older song that very well could have utilized the phrase 'retardation' in its time, without quite the same ramifications as it may today in a mainstream tune...  maybe similar to the original uncut version of 'Money for Nothing' utilizing the term 'faggot.'



Nonetheless, now I know!
