How much are you paying rent a month in Surrey? You came here with your family?

We pay seventeen hundred for a two bedroom main floor apartment. I came here with my wife and daughter.

Quote from: "Superchecker"While we have seen some rain this month, fall has been surprisingly dry in metro Vancouver this year.

Four sunny days on tap for my region!

The news was showing the snowy conditions in the North east region of North America....

All smiles here!

While it was warm during the dsy, it feels cold right now in Vancouver.

Im shivering under the blankets right now.

But I guess I shouldn't complain since many cities in Canada are a full 10 to 15 degrees celsius colder right now. Thats a full 20 to 30 degrees farenheit colder.

Quote from: "Fashionista"Taking public transportation while we are here, I don't realize how crowded the place is or how congested the roads are.

I have to drive a truck and trailer around in that every day, for 10 hours.

As you can imagine, not everyone is suited to be able to handle doing so.  It is NOT a nice place to do the job that I do.

I want to leave this place.

I drove from Abbotsford to Vancouver yesterday Mel.

Cripes the roads were packed just dreadful going each wAy!

Highway 1 trans canada had a nervous breakdown and the traffic wasn't even moving!

And that was for at least 10 niles.

Highway 10 was slow but at least it was moving west.

You have a serious congestion problem out where you live.

Btw, can you suggest some shortcuts going east to west during rush hour?

Or is 1 and 10 the only arteries in and outta there?!

I found just one in Surrey once which enabled me to circumvent the congestion

Welcome to high density housing, Joe!

It's why I want to get the fuck out of here!

Mass immigration has worked wonders here, hasn't it?

Chinks and EI's love to live together, but Whites don't...

Problem is, Whitey now has to deal with outdated infrastructure that was built in the 1960's...

Joe, you should know that Vancouver is now Chinese city!

I thought that title belongs to Richmond.

Like VancouverGuy said, its a mess.

Like Surrey, Richmond is impassable for much of the day.

And if you get caught east of hwy 99, you're stuck in traffic forever.

Surrey is just as bad.

Langley is almost there but isn't as bad ad the other teo...yet.

He's a limo driver. His customers can be rich.
Time is malleable

If, by "Limo" you mean a 1998 Hyundai Excel, and by "customer" you mean his dog, then yes, technically he is a "limo" driver.

So, yesterday it reached a high temperature of 37.9. Crappy, cloudy and humid day.

Today it will be lucky to make 20, and it's pissing down.

This spring weather is crazy.

That is a big difference in just 24 hours.
