So much for beautiful bright blue clear sky. Smoke from Alberta wildfires has entered BC a month too early.

They typically get hotter summers than Calgary because they are lower elevation..



Medicine Hat is the hottest city in Alberta in the summer.

I read the city of Edmonton which is a long way from the fires has poor air quality today because of the forest fire smoke.

I saw on the news that Northern Alberta had lots of rain over the weekend. Should help contain the forest fires.

Not sure.how Alberta is doing but the smoke in Vancouver has cleared. For now.

It's been cooler than normal so far this late spring in Central Ontario.
