In the barracks area and in active service, all expressions of affection and sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex or opposite sex are forbidden.







That is a loose translation from the grand book of regulations..

How does your sexual orientation show in the military?



Fraternizing is against regulations.



Soldiers dont hold hands and skip around the base.

Canada has no ban on gay soldiers either..



I gather what they do off duty is nobody's business..



Since nobody on either forum has ever served in the Canadian army, we can't get first hand information.

I doubt that canadian military allows the barracks to be turned into some kind of a gay love nest.
