Now Chelsea Clinton is being blamed for the Christchurch massacre.

Chelsea Clinton confronted at NYU vigil for mosque victims over her remarks about Omar

Chelsea Clinton received an earful in New York City on Friday night from a college student who said the former first daughter "stoked" the hatred behind the massacre earlier in the day in Christchurch, New Zealand.

It happened at a vigil on the New York University campus for the 49 people killed and dozens of others wounded in the attack.

Some of the NYU students told Clinton she wasn't welcome at the vigil. One of the students referred to Clinton's recent condemnation of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, over the congresswoman's anti-Semitic remarks.

"We should expect all elected officials, regardless of party, and all public figures to not traffic in anti-Semitism," Clinton tweeted on Feb. 10.

"This, right here, is a result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world," one student told Clinton. "And I want you to know that and I want you to feel that deep down inside. Forty-nine people died because of the rhetoric you put out there."

^^ That demonstrates the determination of the left to stop ANY criticism of anything or anyone islam ... by ANYONE

including even when it is outright hate speech being criticized

We are at a point where anything goes in support of islam - and nothing goes in criticism of it

For Example: OTTAWA — In the wake of a mass shooting at two New Zealand mosques on Friday that left 49 dead and many others seriously injured, Conservative MPs have cancelled an event planned for Monday in Ottawa that was to feature a controversial speaker who has been accused of Islamophobia.

For some time now every event, whether pro or anti islam moves the pendulum further in favor of islam.

Even when islam kills of uses hate speech we are told to not make a big deal of it

Either way, islam gains on society's silence against it

Let me get this straight. Calling out Omar's anti-semitism and bigotry makes the person saying that complicit in the Christchurch bloodbath.

For many on the left, when there is a conflict between two individuals or groups,  who is right or wrong no longer matter.  It only matters what groups they belong to.  And Muslims outrank Jews.

A "Take" on it ALL (Not from myself, but interesting)

A. When a muslim murders 49 gay people in a Florida night club, the community immediately rallied around the mosque and muslim community he hailed from. There were repeated admonishments to warn against a backlash, and remind people how peaceful muslims are.

B. On the flip side, when a terrorist shoots up a mosque full of worshipers, the whole community is blamed and punished collectively. Public is warned there are many  dangerous non-islamics out there

Has it occurred to anyone that THIS is may have been what the follower of "greatly mixed and contradictory causes" shooter was aiming to expose?

If so, progressive culture has played right into his hands and given him exactly what he wanted. He's exposed that some religious inspired murders are more outrageous than others.

What he's really exposed is that the world has grown 100% complacent about Muslims murdering people. It doesn't even shock the senses anymore.

It's only when the reverse happens that we feel outrage, precisely because it's out of the ordinary.

Much less stylish than the cream-pie-in-the-face that is occasionally seen in the States (we had one of those about 20 years ago in my town, a youngish woman pieing the governor after an appearance.  It will always be prosecuted as an aggravated battery, which it legally is, but usually it will plea-bargain down to probation and community service for the offender.

I liked that the senator struck the kid back, in your video.

He wasn't 15, he is 17 so that is another inaccurate story.

The senator only got 24 votes to get into Parliament. He got in because he was attached to Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party.

They're really giving him a hard time both in the Press and the other politicians both sides. Pauline Hanson kicked him out of her party.

Further to my above post:

NPR Issues Guidance On All The Details They WON'T Report About The Christchurch Massacre!

For a news organization, government-funded NPR sure does seem awfully focused on what they WON'T report about a major story, the NZ massacre.

Anyone else old enough to remember when the basics of journalism included gathering and presenting the "Who" "What" "Where" "When" and "Why" of the event? Those days are gone, replaced by progress and safety.

Facts you don't need include...Names:

-NAMES I. When it's known for sure, the name of the shooter does NOT have to be endlessly repeated. Biographical details are important, but repeating the name over and over runs the risk of glorifying the shooter in some eyes. As we've said before, in many cases the news can be told without even saying the name (or names if others were involved).

Video:

-VIDEO: We do not plan to post the video the shooter reportedly made. Use of any audio from it must be approved by a DME.

You don't need to see the manifesto:

-MANIFESTO. We will be sparing on reporting about what's being referred to as the gunman's "manifesto" and do not plan to publish it in its entirety if it becomes available. There is considerable research indicating that such statements inspire others. The DME on duty must OK how we handle news from it.

Social Media:

SOCIAL MEDIA I. Do not retweet or otherwise point to other media outlet's posting of the video or manifesto if they do that.

-SOCIAL MEDIA II. Let our engagement teams post first about our coverage and it's certainly fine to then point to what they are sharing.

-SOCIAL MEDIA III: Be careful of other news outlets' coverage. If you wouldn't point to it on the air or in a Web story, don't share it on social media.

Good luck ever getting to the "Why" if you're not allowed to know the unsafe facts of events.

It's hard to know what's scarier, living in a world with lunatics like the Christchurch attacker, or living in world that chooses to put its collective fingers in their collective ears and shout "nah nah nah I can't hear you"

This is the same media complex that demanded you had a right to see every last salacious photo of meat pyramids out of Abu Ghraib.

And it isn't just NPR. There are a lot of people who think they should be the ones to control what you do and don't see.

And while we are at it, Where's the dtaa on the Danforth shooter???

CC... it has to go to court...

if EVERYTHING is written about now they won't find a jury that hasn't be contaminated.

You have to wait until court where the day to day happenings gets reported.

They haven't even buried the victims yet...

I don't think NPR is trying not to taint the jury pool.  It could actually be that they don't want to give guys like this the fame and notoriety  that  they often crave.  (Or I may be wrong and giving NPR too much credit.)

Either way though, NPR is biased crap paid for at taxpayers expense, which is ridiculous.  I'm sure Canadians understand even more what that's like since they pay for the CBC

Yes, but the media have been told to shut up.

This incident is being used by everybody to promote their agendas.

The media are rubbing their hands together and it's disgusting when they report another death discovered.

This mass murderer is actually very clever. He sent his manifesto to over a dozen places less than 10 before he acted... (I think it was 17 places) He picked a place full of victims... he went to a country where semi automatics are legal...He planned this a long time ago.

*Just heard a news update, shooter sent his manifesto to 30 places.

Agreed. It was well planned. The fact it was an Aussie acting in NZ says volumes

It's the cops job to throttle news when appropriate re: juries etc, not the press's

NPR is press and as such are to get and  give as much info as they can. The above was NRP's rules of throttling, not the cops
