I have had this discussion on another forum. That is very misleading. The money America "gives" Jerusalem never actually leaves America.

I didn't mean to hijack the thread, and intended only a light-hearted comment.  I'm curious to know more, though.  It seems to me that regardless of where the money "goes" if the US is spending it for Israel's benefit then it's not being spent for my benefit.  And it IS a great deal of money, or so I hear.
