Has a point with Neil Young. He can wield a mighty axe, to be sure.

When on full roar with Crazy Horse, he's a force of nature.

Knopfler in my view was deadly dull and no virtuoso.

Before his death, BB was in Australia for the Bluesfest. Dylan was touring.

Some clever and wealthy promoter managed to double bill them for a few shows, and we were lucky enough to grab a couple of tickets.

BB opened, and when he played it was like witnessing the Big Bang. He and Lucille changed the world. The auditorium was packed, and in raptures of this 83 year old man playing his guitar. And his voice was so powerful.

Dylan followed, and about 20% of the crowd left.

What does THAT say.

I saw BB a few times in the late sixties.  One was a triple bill with Albert King and Muddy Waters, but they didn't share the stage or jam together.

Bricktop

Pity.

It would have been good if BB came out to share the stage with Dylan.

It might have made him listenable. Worst concert EVER.
