Let me check to make certain  it was Crave

Update - yes, it's Crave on demand under "Dramas"

And, .. they have already placed 1st 2 of Season 3  there - so it will be there when you get to it

Like SB, we don't watch many shows in the summer..

But, this is one series I'd like to see.

Be aware that psychotically, it's heavy going .. heavier than the movie  "1984"

at the same time, in a number of possible "root contexts", like 1984 it's entirely possible = intriguing

As long as there is not a lot of violence, I would watch it..

Maybe I'll order Crave in the fall.

Some instances of physical violence, but most of the "heavy" I found to be psychological and oppression / subservience

and of course speaking against the regime was a serious no no

I expect that.

This thread has me intrigued about the series.

After a while I'll let you know if the new season picks up steam and equals previous .. I suspect it will

I strongly suggest watching it only from the beginning forward .. everything is sequential and tied to previous shows

It is an ever evolving story

That is how I would do it.

Blurt

I might check this out eventually.

I've always enjoyed dystopian fiction. Dystopian realities, not so much.

I don't watch TV, though, so I might stick to reading for the time being.

Dystopias I've read (and, in many cases, re-read):

- The Trial

- Brave New World

- Fahrenheit 451

- Nineteen Eighty-Four

- This Perfect Day

- The Man In The High Castle

- Make Room! Make Room!

- The Handmaid's Tale

- The Children Of Men

- Slant

- Jennifer Government

- The Windup Girl

My fave dystopian film remains Terry Gilliams' Brazil.

Thanks for the heads-up, CC. I might try to catch this series.

I finally read 1984 this year.
