 Almost all of these mass shooters have been on some kind of psychotropic drug at some point of their life.  IT's a mental health issue.

Yet they legally acquire powerful military style guns, for which no reasonable excuse exists for anyone to possess them.

As a gun owner, I agree that the kind ammo drums the Dayton shooter used is TOO much for civillian use.  The only thing about banning these drum magazines, there is nothing to stop them from banning the others as well. Sadly, people want to protect their family and other innocent civilians.   Almost all of these mass shooters have been on some kind of psychotropic drug at some point of their life.  IT's a mental health issue.

If somebody who is going to shoot up aplace, why in the hell would they give a damn about any gun laws that get added to the book when the current ones are rarely enforced effectively? If somebody is hell bent on committing murder, they are not going to give a shit about bans or even obtaining a firearm legally. Hell, look at the shooting capitals of America. all strict gun control states and cities that hasn't done a lick of shit, because a criminal isn't going to obtain a license and go through numerous background checks, but just buy it out of some hoodrat's trunk for a hundred bucks.

It is about prohibiting the possession and use of guns to anyone with NO LAWFUL PURPOSE FOR SAID POSSESSION AND USE.

you're more likely to get murdered in greenland than you are in the U.S on a per capita basis. Venezuela come in at number 3, and they did have their guns confiscated. so much for that idea.
