Is Trudeau offering immediate permanent residency?

I don't know if it's immediate or fast tracked.

Japan announced this past week that it would accept Ukrainian refugees. Historically, Japan has resisted taking in refugees.

That is surprising.....Japan has always resisted taking refugees.

There is no news about Australia's efforts to assist Ukrainian refugees as yet. We're simply sending relief supplies to Europe.

Japan is a smart country. And I'm not just saying that because I am one quarter Japanese. They understand the difference between refugees from Ukraine and the scammers from Africa and the Middle East that Trudeau welcomes with open arms and our money.

Japan has also used this as an excuse to beef up it's military. I don't blame them. They have territorial disputes with China as most countries in the region do.

Japan should bolster it's defense spending.
