I don't know your history with him, and I'm aware that there is bad blood between you.  Nevertheless, he is in the upper tier of admins I've known, and I respect his even handedness especially with posters he dislikes.  I tend to doubt he would ban you, not even for a day, without the prompting and/or support of at least one of the owner-admins, because he is aware of his own bias.  



That is very respectable, and not often seen these days.
