I didn't even know what PI stood for until Seamoron and Murdock came along. Even if "PI" was posted, I would not recognize who they were posting about, and I sure as hell would not be interested in it. Why would I want to know the personal details of posters who live in different countries. What good is that going to do me. I should clarify what I mean by diversity. I mean differences for posting. As you know, I am very interested in discussing bread and butter issues. Someone else could be interested in sports, or pop culture. Still others, it could be poetry, art or creative flaming.

 Well on venues that host grown adults who enjoy insulting and screwing with eachother....it gets used for intimidation.



 On Valhalla our rules were pretty simple, and there were only a couple. No identifiable info(names, social media, employers, addresses and numbers), no illegal porn and no spam. Everything else was fair game and we had a lot of wierd fun.



 But venues like this can attract some real creeps who get very personally invested and have difficulty separating a character, a persona(like Dovey vs Sandra for example). So if they cannot best someone with words and wit, it goes to doxxing and real life intimidation. This kinda thing is like a herpe on the rectum of the flame/troll community.



 I think the flamers are more susceptible to this due to the toxic nature of flaming.



 I've already been doxxed a few times. It's not a big deal to me, really. I just roll with it.  As you said, what is even the big deal about that information unless people actually plan to start stalking and interfering with peoples actual lives?  It's just a show of dominance. Like when a peacock dances around with its feathers out.

 I have far more grace towards the one who posted iy....but I really wish it hadnt been done. It's not the right thing but to me, it was an understandable thing.  



 The only time in my life I've ever been  pissed enough to go there myself was over this KM drama and I removed myself until I could deal with it with a sense of humor if/when it found me.
