I lived in Toowoomba. I liked it. I made some good friends there that I stay in contact with.

I spent a lot of time on the Sunshine Coast and in Mackay.... rare breed, Queenslanders....but more liberty oriented....

My boy's girlfriend is from rural NSW. She used to looked down on them, but now that she has a father in law who is a Saskatchewan version of a Queensland bogan, she has changed her mind. At least when she is around me.

And they do not get more simple than Old Herman. I fit right in, in small towns in Queensland.

Our cops are mostly jackbooted Forrest Gump's with blunt force head traumas... this will not end well...

No fishing, no golfing, people who share houses or flats must elect a grocery shopper between them, as they are classed as a household and not boarders.

There's a story circulating from a few nights ago here....a woman filled up her shopping trolley with 1200 bucks of meats, eggs, other proteins...



....and a Karen went off on her, snapped a picture of her shopping, and proceeded to try to shame the shopper on Social media.



I was surprised to read that heaps of people told her to mind her own business and she didn't know the woman's circumstances and that there were no buying limits at that point so stfu cow.



It was heartening to hear some people are still sane.
