This is a good reopening plan. It incentivizes keeping social distancing in our private homes, which is where the spread is. Hospitalization numbers go above those listed and restrictions automoatically kick back in. They drop, and businesses re-open.

Not sure why you guys have had such high hospitalization rates for quite a while  .. for example you have dropped your case #s & 7 day average as well down to our level for a while now (great!!), yet have virtually 600 hospitalizations today (double ours)  :confused1:

I like the "incentives " concept spelled out for people to think about & maybe act better .. a good strategy

BTW - The press blabber about 60,000 less Moderna next week is only 6,000 (according to Bonnie) & was because of factory problem

It's actually dropped a lot cc..

It was close to one thousand in early December, but I agree, it's still high..

And I do like this incentivized concept of the Alberta government.

cc

It's good strategy

Some numbers are hard to get straight as we have country and provinces speaking

It seems Ottawa keeps changing(for the worse) what they are promising provinces.

Ottawa & more important, Fortin, says we will meet quantities expected for end of March .. with major gains beginning in mid February

I'll feel hopeful when the dosages actually arrive in the provinces.

Some of the candidates are not showing such good efficiencies ... Pfizer & Moderna were on the best track (mRNA) from the gitgo in every way - speed of development, effectiveness and ability for rapid tweaking for variants if and when needed

Seems the mRNA works best for elders. The newer ones work more effectively for younger people .. but none match the current 2 even for young people

I want Pfizer or Moderna.

We could all use this concept - Can't beat incentives to make people be good

It's a great idea, which is why the provincial NDP hates it.
