Alberta reported 115 new cases today.

Alberta is offering $3 million in lottery winnings to encourage more people to get a COVID-19 vaccine..



Three $1-million prizes will be available for Albertans aged 18 and over who have had at least one dose..



To register, eligible Albertans must fill out their information at alberta.ca/lottery.

We had fifty five cases today. On a per capita basis, Alberta did better the past couple of days than we did.

we had 3 day total of 277 new cases & total 4 deaths

G.D. Slurry had 148 of them (although their % of all cases is down a lot now due to heavy push to vaccinate their hot spots,

Van only 36 over the 3 days



If we had just pushed  Slurry into the ocean, we would never have had many cases



Phase 1 has been in effect, today we open more into phase 2 ... we shall see how that goes over time

Ontario reported 296 new COVID-19 cases, lowest daily count in 9 months.

Alberta reported 127 cases today and 2800 active cases province-wide which is the lowest since October 15, 2020.

We had 108 (and are averaging well under that this week but zero deaths is always a good day)



 and Canada as a whole had 808 which I'll give another day or 2 to see what the average becomes .. although covid death count was not so good (a product of previous high case counts) ..  and it remains as always, several hundred times higher than the highly promoted vaccine kill rate

 UK is up a lot since opening a bit, BC & other Canadian provinces keep falling in numbers despite some opening up



Say - Just saw this.



This appears to be why & even further proof of vaccine effectiveness



BC 18 - 29 year old are 64% vaccinated



UK 16 - 29 are 24%



That's  mainly that age group that is getting infected and spreading it around  .. and most likely to do so because of lifestyle



My understanding for a long time was that UK was way ahead on vax ... seems that was not the case at all despite a fast head start
