Victoria's Acting Premier James Merlino has announced Australia's first locally developed mRNA vaccine will now proceed to phase one clinical trials.



"Back in April we announced a $50 million fund to kickstart mRNA research and a pathway to local manufacturing capability in Victoria and our nation," he said.



"As part of that today we're announcing $5 million that will support the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Australia's first locally developed mRNA vaccine that will now proceed to phase one clinical trials.



"This is an incredibly important, incredibly exciting step that we are making in our nation".

I remember when he first decided COVID-19 vaccines are evil, it was because they changed DNA....mRNA vaccines can't do that..



Then it was that traditional vaccines like AZ cause blood clots......they can, but it's rare compared to the coronavirus itself..
