Roxham Road is a Trudeau "open borders" thing...  A relatively new concept that started with his government.  A "Diversity is our Strength" thing.



The UN also pushes hard for nations to open up in this way for refugees.



However, it's also clear that Trudy can easily shut Roxham Road down too, and I hope it stays shut down for good.

Historically there was never any real need to defend the border though.  Canadians typically don't want to live in the US illegally, nor do Americans want to live in Canada illegally.

It's more or less open, in that there are no physical barriers in place.
