Process was simple enough.

I kind of felt bad though, since I don't really need the money, but nonetheless I am entitled to it in these strange times.  It's sort of a grey area as to whether I'm considered an essential service or not...  I'll assume I'm not, and follow the directions to stay at home, and stay safe, on welfare!  Still lots to do around the house & yard anyhow.

Think of all the skin site memberships and KY you'll be able to buy now...
Blahhhhhh...

Maybe I should do something good with it, like buy & deliver food and supplies to the more vulnerable members of society...  Or not!

Exactly, and since taxes on beer are almost 50%, the government will get half their money right back again in no time!

Mel's gonna enjoy all the taxes you paid thru the years, Herm.

He's definitely grateful for all your hard work & your generous financial gift.

Thanks again, hey Herm?

Somebody has to support you lazy old virgin bums. Gawd knows you are too inept to look after yourself. But,  maybe Herm bought some stocks a couple of weeks ago when markets were bottoming out. I see the TSX was up and the Dow was up a whopping 1600+ points. We told you to buy when markets were low. Now it appears the curve will soon flatten out in North America and Europe. You snoozed and you lost.

It won't last tho.

The market rise has no basis in reality.

There is simply no way an entire world economy can contract by at least 20% & register a 1600 point gain on the Dow. When the head of the IMF says we are headed for an economic downturn worse than the Great Depression, she's not lying:

I suspect the reason the market's handlers manipulated the it was to allow pukes like Bill Ackman to recoup their losses after the huge market crash after they went public & whined that they were caught off guard by its collapse. as in "Wahh! I didn't get a chance to sell my stocks before the market tanked kast time! Wahhh! Not fair! Hey market handlers, can you prop it up one more time so I can sell my stocks at a better orice before the market crashes agaib? Gee thanks!" (wipes tears, blows snot out of his nose).

Personally I wouldn't trust this stock market because its being fixed by its hsndlers who cheated at their own game. If there is such a substantial rise in the market then it is based on hot air & false hope. There is nothing to hold it up & it will collapse like a deflating balloon again.

The market is being manipulated.

I think people who lost value in their  stock portfolios when the market initially tanked should consider selling a good portion of their stock portfolios  & putting it into money market. Sure the Dow mught go up again but its gonna tank again too

Whille its up briefly to 25,000 to 26,000 i'd be inclined to sell as this stock market is currently wsy overvalued.

Anyways thats the way I see it  But if I am wrong in ny projections then by all means savage me.

Never a good idea to buy high and sell low, unless you absolutely have to for some emergency in life...  Remember, most long-term investors invest in dividend paying stocks, so they still provide even in market downturns with either cash or to DRIP if you set up account to do so...

The values will always rise again, but that may take some time...

The stock markets are a mugs game... you've got more transparency on horses or even dogs...

This billionaire CEO investor agrees with you, that a true sustainable rise in the stock market is a ways off:

Jeffrey Gundlich compares this period to 1929 of a stock market moving sudeways with erratic ups/downs  for several months before it crashes by years end.

Gundlich did warn about a high risk for recession by 2020 last year in  2019.
