Just for fun, I did a search. Guess what I discovered. There were 3300 Jews in all of America in 1830. At the same time there were 2,000,000 slaves.

Half of all states were slave owning. So, let's assume half of all Jews lived in slave owning states. That would mean 1277 Jewish-Americans owned 1212 slaves each. And let's assume that half of them were children, that means that Jewish plantations had 2424 slaves each. This is despite stats showing that 88% of plantations had less than 20 slaves and half had less than 5.

The same chart shows 36.7% of the white families owned slaves.
