True. She is and will be used as attack dog ... it's natural for her.

At the same time it will further emphasize  Jo as the weak one ... He is the one who is must look like a leader to have a chance

Also, she is nasty and that often shows in fact

While true he may resign or be forced out. That is not an arguement that will produce votes .

The only way it could is if people really wanted her as pres - while in reality, she had to bow out very early with less than 2% of total votes .. not an indication she is a vote-getter or desired at all

That fact alone should have put her on the bottom of his list .. she just is not like-able or a vote grabber

More Food For Thot

https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/michael-goodwin-kamala-harris-an-underwhelming-pick-for-vice-president">The great Peggy Lee song comes to mind: "Is that all there is?"

Sen. Kamala Harris checks off two big boxes for 2020 Dems — gender and race. But the moment, if not the actual choice, feels underwhelming because of the amateurish way Joe Biden and his team let the process spin out of control.

The drawn-out, overhyped vetting often made it seem as if the running mate would save the ticket. A month ago there were six finalists, then maybe 12.

Some openly campaigned, with Stacey Abrams and Karen Bass enlisting supporters to speak to Biden directly. Susan Rice talked up what she saw as her qualifications on television as if picking her was a no-brainer.

FLASHBACK: HARRIS SAYS SHE BELIEVED WOMEN WHO ACCUSED BIDEN OF INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING

Much of the time it seemed as if the campaign was putting out leaks to give the impression there were developments when there were none. With Biden mostly basement-bound in Delaware and slow to roll out serious policy proposals, the veep hunt and the speculation took on outsized importance.

Throughout, there were two acknowledged subtexts. The first was Biden's decision, in the midst of the #MeToo movement, that it had to be a woman, a vow that immediately undercut the credentials of the winner, no matter whom it would be. That's what quotas do.

Would Harris have gotten the spot if men had been considered and acceptable? Merely to ask is to cast doubt on her.

The selection was even more tilted because it increasingly became clear that the veep candidate had to be not only a woman, but also black. The lack of enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton among black voters helped sink her four years ago.

Although Biden largely owes his nomination to the turnout of black voters in the South Carolina primary, being Barack Obama's vice president could not by itself guarantee him sufficient loyalty and turnout in November. He needed to shore up his party's most important and reliable bloc, so the intrigue was really about which black woman he would select.

The second subtext is Biden's obvious mental and physical frailties, with more than one observer noting that there was a good chance that the running mate could become president within a first term, should the Dems prevail. The president-in-waiting, as even Biden supporters put it.

Harris had, in effect, one good sound bite, "That little girl was me," and one good debate. After that, she became a target and quickly wilted over charges from also-ran Tulsi Gabbard that she had been an overly aggressive prosecutor in California on relatively minor marijuana cases.

In the end, Harris did not give the kind of performance that leaves the public wanting more. Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, for two examples, stayed until just before the deciding contests and got far better reviews than they got at the beginning.

Well, about the only state she is reasonably sure of helping him in is her Cali .. and that's moot

No one outside of Cali can like her

I say  ..  it will rapidly become apparent the choice is a disaster for Jo

Cali don't like her. Especially LA

I expected an "actual" black

She's merely white chocolate

plus her record of extremely harsh prosecution & strict DA will not go well with blacks, a large % of which  whom they have to get to have a chance to win

She was the one I hoped for as I feel she will hurt more than help ... and .. "likable" she is not

I think she's more "jerk Chicken" with a bit of "Vindaloo" or "Tandoori." ac_lmfao

1. She said she did outright

But then, ... that was "then"  ac_biggrin

2. Oh, they keep track of left / right Senate votes. She had most left vote of entire Senate ... more left votes than Sanders even (and that's an achievement) .. a  a Berkeley radical she is  ..  which of course will play right into T's hands

She was the very last one I thought he would pick because of that and other reasons

3. A reputation of being an extremely heavy-handed ruthless prosecutor including against blacks and Hispanics .. The details of which just being listed or mentioned are deadly for her

That last one is strange  .. extreme left policies on one hand, yet heartless prosecutor  .. Go figure :confused1:

JUSTIN HASKINS: https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/kamala-harris-vp-pick-biden-justin-haskins"> Why Kamala Harris VP pick may cost Biden the election[/url]

n what may go down as one of the worst vice-presidential picks in U.S. history, Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he has chosen Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., to be his running mate for the 2020 presidential election.

Harris is exactly the opposite of what Biden needed in order to compete with President Trump in November.

She garnered so little support and enthusiasm among Democratic Party voters during the primary season that she chose to drop out of the race in December, more than a month before the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary.

Harris has been heavily criticized by many on the far left for her stances on some criminal justice issues while she served as the top prosecutor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011 and attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017.

For example, she previously opposed a statewide police body camera mandate, fought against a reduction to California's mandatory minimum law, and opposed the legalization of marijuana -- a position she has since reversed.

But worst of all, Harris has in recent years adopted increasingly more radical policy positions, frequently aligning herself with socialist politicians like Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.

Perhaps the most notable example is Harris's support for Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal, the most radical, socialistic proposal in history.

Among other things, AOC's Green New Deal resolution, which Harris co-sponsored in the Senate in 2019, includes a call for single-payer health care, retrofitting every home and business building in the country, a new system of publicly-owned banks, free college tuition, "universal access to healthy food," a federal jobs guarantee, the complete destruction of the fossil-fuel industry and requirements that would prevent Americans from purchasing gasoline-powered cars.

When you add up all of Harris's proposals, it's hard to see how her platform differs substantially from that of Bernie Sanders. Although Harris denies she is a socialist, her recent track record suggests that is exactly what she is.

Biden's decision to choose Harris is bizarre, to say the least. She provides almost no political benefits and a whole lot of far-left baggage.

The reason Biden was chosen by Democratic Party primary voters in the first place is precisely because they didn't want a socialist on the ticket, and yet, that's exactly what they have ended up with now that Harris has joined the Biden campaign.

Harris's socialist policy views will not play well in the conservative Midwest and moderate upper Midwest. Middle-of-the-road voters in states such as Michigan and Wisconsin, as well as swing states further to the east, like Pennsylvania and North Carolina, have no interest in voting for the socialist policies championed by Harris.

When they find out just how radical Biden's new running mate is, it could very well prove to be catastrophic for his campaign.

With that in mind, the only person who should be happier with this pick than Kamala Harris is Donald Trump.

[There is a lot more specifics in that article - I trimmed it for quicker reading purposes]

That's a red old deal.

Harris will not shore up support in battleground states.

It's as if Biden asked T to pick his mate

In fact, she will be played loudly in those critical states

It make zero sense  :confused1: - The only productive boxes she ticks are color (sort of) and female (I think)

Kamala Harris Co-Sponsored Bill That Would Force Schools To Let Male Athletes Compete In Girls' Sports

Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris co-sponsored a bill that would force public schools to allow biologically male athletes who identify as transgender on girls' sports teams.

Among other things, the bill would force public schools to expand female athletic teams to include biological males who identify as transgender girls, as both supporters and opponents of the bill have acknowledged.

Biden has pledged to get the Equality Act signed into law within his first 100 days in office, making the Democratic ticket united on the issue of forcing schools to allow some biologically male athletes into female athletics
