The deck is so heavily stacked in so many areas that it's very very difficult to hold off the progs from taking over, changing the rules and ruling FOREVER

Canada always has played against a heavily stacked deck, similar in media and mediums + Quebec always & now Ontario

Trudeau's election victory marked the start of permanent prog privilege and control over Canadians.

This bill has to pass. And it probably will---after the Democrats win all three branches.

Rep. Steube Introduces Bill to Limit Section 230 Immunity for Big Tech

Rep. Greg Steube (R-Fla.) unveiled legislation that would require big tech companies to adhere to the "First Amendment standard for their content moderation practices." The bill would limit the immunity the companies have when they restrict speech or censor certain content, allowing for more accountability.

The Curbing Abuse and Saving Expression In Technology Act, or the CASE-IT Act, which would amend Section 230 of the Communications Act of 1934, aims to allow free speech online while protecting minors from inappropriate and unsafe content.

The bill seeks to limit the power big tech CEOs have in deciding which content is not favorable or true.

"Unelected big tech CEOs should not be able to abuse the protections granted to them by Section 230 to block speech and withhold information from the public, just because it doesn't suit their political beliefs," Steube said. "Their censorship has gone beyond simply acting as publishers and has reached the point of active and intentional election interference. They will be held accountable."

The Trump administration has been vocal about the need to change Section 230 in order to force internet companies to manage and moderate content on their platforms responsibly and fairly, and has accused online platforms such as Facebook and Twitter of engaging in censorship of certain viewpoints.

They only censor when they are worried. All tech billionaires are scared what a second Trump term will mean to their monopoly of power and influence.

A columnist for the Boston Globe suggested on Saturday that President Trump's supporters were like terrorists from the Islamic State.

On Twitter, columnist Renée Graham posted a photo of what appeared to be a caravan of Trump supporters. Next to it, she showed a series of cars with individuals holding the Islamic State flag.

"See the difference? Me neither," Graham tweeted.

Trump supporters are the ones who would do something to stop a jihadi who would try to cut his idiotic prog head off. That's the difference.

Investigative Journalist Reveals How Big Tech Shapes Political Views

Big tech companies such as Facebook, Google, and Twitter can arbitrarily censor internet content viewed or posted by users to influence their political views. After the 2016 election, tech giants enhanced their systems and algorithms to more effectively control and block internet content that does not conform to their mostly left-leaning views.

Concerns are being raised about Silicon Valley's influence on democratic politics including elections, Allum Bokhari an investigative journalist said in an interview on The Epoch Times' "American Thought Leaders."

Since "There's no regulator stopping them using that power, and it is going to have a big impact on what Americans are allowed to see, what Americans are allowed to read about," which may amount to interfering with "this crucial election," Bokhari said.

It has become especially evident after the 2016 election when then-presidential nominee Donald Trump won, taking by surprise his opponents and those with far-left political views, including those at most of the big tech companies, according to Bokhari.

After that, initiatives have been created by anti-Trump employees of these companies to suppress misinformation, fake news, and hate speech with a focus on "suppressing the Trump movement, making sure 2016 doesn't happen again," Bokhari told The Epoch Times.

GoFundMe Takes Down Fundraiser Aimed at Voter Fraud Detection

The GoFundMe website last week took down a fundraiser started by a former strategist for President Donald Trump's campaign aimed at financing "voter fraud detection" efforts in several states.

Matt Braynard's fundraising page was removed because it violated the website's terms of service, he was told by a GoFundMe staffer.

The staffer said the page violated GoFundMe's "prohibited content" term. He didn't say which of the 28 possible violations the page violated.

Google Has Power to Shift Millions of Votes Through Targeted Messaging: Dr. Robert Epstein

Big Tech companies such Google and Facebook have enormous power to shift people's opinions and voting preferences through manipulation of the content of their home pages that users see on screens of their devices, without people knowing, said Dr. Robert Epstein, a senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology in California.

"I calculated months ago, that if all the Silicon Valley companies, the most powerful two being Google and Facebook, if they're all pushing in the same direction, that could easily shift in this election 15 million votes, which means they, in effect, decide who the next president is going to be," Epstein said in an interview on Epoch Times' "American Thought Leaders" program.

Parler is good.

Parler CEO: Facebook's Alleged Secret Algorithm Is 'Orwellian'

The CEO of social media website Parler responded to a report about a Facebook algorithm that allegedly reduces the reach of alternative news websites and promotes corporate media.

John Matze, in an interview with Fox News, said that a reported "secret internal algorithm thing is kind of Orwellian," referring to the dystopian novel, "1984," by George Orwell.

"Parler believes that people should make the determination for themselves what they think is hyperpartisan or they believe in and what they'd like to follow and they can choose on their own on Parler what they'd like to get engaged with," he said.

The New York Times, citing anonymous sources, alleged that Facebook changed its algorithm after the Nov. 3 election to bolster CNN, NPR, the NY Times, and other legacy news outlets over certain pages like Breitbart News or Occupy Democrats.
