Donald Trump dealt an earth-shattering blow to the American left. The reality television star not only secured a convincing win in the Electoral College but also captured the popular vote and carried down-ballot Republicans to victory, with the GOP taking control of the Senate and likely retaining the House. Typically, such a decisive mandate for the opposition would lead a political party to reflect on the policies or rhetoric that contributed to such a defeat. But Democrats are having none of that.

Instead of examining their platform, tone toward the American people, or use of power, liberal pundits and politicians have reached a different conclusion. From MSNBC to CNN and HBO, they have conducted election postmortems, blaming their loss on one main problem: that the American people have too much free speech.

It is a long old article. But, that Kennedy fella knows his shit. Even progtard scum like the New York Times have been forced to admit that.

https://www.theblaze.com/news/very-stupid-new-york-times-beclowns-itself-with-botched-fact-check-proving-rfk-jrs-point?utm_source=theblaze-breaking&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Afternoon%20Trending%2011-18-2024&utm_term=ACTIVE%20LIST%20-%20TheBlaze%20Breaking%20News&tpcc=email-breaking
RFK Jr, Trump's proposed Health and Human Services secretary, has pledged to "Make America Healthy Again" primarily by tackling the "chronic disease epidemic" and the corporate capture of federal regulatory agencies.

The environmental lawyer's adjacency to the Republican president and his recent criticism of experimental gene therapies have made him a frequent target for criticism by lawmaking recipients of Big Pharma lobbying money and the liberal media. In their efforts to dunk on Kennedy, establishmentarians have in many cases exposed their true loyalties as well as their aversion to inconvenient facts.

The New York Times is now among the outfits that has risked such exposure in its desperation to characterize Kennedy as "wrong."

At the outset of their article, titled "Kennedy's Vow to Take On Big Food Could Alienate His New G.O.P. Allies," Jewett and Creswell wrote, "Boxes of brightly colored breakfast cereals, vivid orange Doritos and dazzling blue M&Ms may find themselves under attack in the new Trump administration."

After highlighting why food titans that produce unhealthy products are "nervous" about the incoming administration, Jewett and Creswell tried nitpicking through some of Kennedy's concerns, zeroing in on his recent remarks about the ingredients of Kellogg's Froot Loops cereal.

The brighter artificial colors are more attractive to children — and helpful with sales — but apparently harmful to their health.

Hari recently told Blaze News:

The science shows that these dyes cause hyperactivity in children, can disrupt the immune system, and are contaminated with carcinogens. There are safer colors available made from fruits and vegetables, such as beets and carrots. Food companies already don't use artificial dyes en masse in Europe because they don't want to slap warning labels on their products that say they "may cause adverse effects on attention in children." If food companies like Kellogg's can reformulate their products without artificial dyes to sell in other countries, there is no reason why they can't do that also here in America.

The food activist added, "As there are over 10,000 food additives approved for use in the United States, while Europe only allows 400, the [incoming] administration should prioritize taking control of the alarming amount of food additives in our food supply."

Kennedy appeared on Fox News the following day and referenced Hari's presentation, saying, "A box of Froot Loops from Canada or from Europe ... has a completely different group of ingredients. It's actually colored with vegetable oils, which are safe. Ours are colored with chemical oils, which are very, very dangerous."

Following the election, Kennedy revisited the example in a MSNBC interview, saying offhand, "Why do we have Froot Loops in this country that have 18 or 19 ingredients, and you go to Canada and it's got two or three?"

The Times seized on Kennedy's critique of Froot Loop, writing:

Mr. Kennedy has singled out Froot Loops as an example of a product with too many artificial ingredients, questioning why the Canadian version has fewer than the U.S. version. But he was wrong. The ingredient list is roughly the same, although Canada's has natural colorings made from blueberries and carrots while the U.S. product contains red dye 40, yellow 5 and blue 1 as well as Butylated hydroxytoluene, or BHT, a lab-made chemical that is used "for freshness," according to the ingredient label.

Well the disgraced pollster Ann Selzer has retired from polling after her attempt to sway voters to vote for Harris with her laughable last minute announcement of Harris leading Trump in Iowa by 3 percent. I mean she was only off by 16 percent. Trump of course has won Iowa easily the last 3 elections.

This is an attempt to dissuade people from voting for Trump. Her hope and her left wing allies in the press were doing everything to make it look like Trump was done.

They did the same thing in 2016 and 2020 where the polls were of course far off the mark. The modern media across the Western World is dangerously become a propaganda wing for the various left wing parties.....to say we have reached Soviet levels is barely an exaggeration. I can't tell you how disgusted I am with Selzer and her like, this was blatant.

On a positive note, the Media has taken a large hit in terms of credibility and with the advent of other more honest media streams we could be seeing the slow death of the legacy media

The Washington Post will soon remove its senior politics editor as the fallout from President-elect Donald Trump's decisive electoral victory continues to wreak havoc at liberal media outlets across the country.

The news certainly comes as a shock, considering Dan Eggen's lengthy career at the outlet. Eggen first joined the paper more than 25 years ago and was promoted to senior politics editor in 2022.

I have no faith left for MSN.

I would like to see the so called journalists exposed because they are not true journalists, they are really left wing activists and they misrepresent the news.

I cannot even watch MSN news anymore. I get much of my information from YouTube stations that are independent.

It's pretty hard because both sides lie but who lies the worst and more often?

A legal analyst at MSNBC penned a piece presenting a sympathetic portrayal of Jose Ibarra, the illegal alien who brutally murdered Georgia nursing student Laken Riley.

On Friday, MSNBC published on its website an article entitled "Laken Riley's killer never stood a chance" by Danny Cevallos, a legal analyst and a criminal defense attorney who specializes in wrongful convictions and personal injury cases.

This is why working people stopped watching the prog media and will never turn it on again. MSNBC is a disgrace.

Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) refused to let CNN tell only one side of the story.

Last week, California police released a report accusing Pete Hegseth, the nominee for defense secretary, of sexual assault in 2017. Despite the suspicious timing of the report's release and its salacious details, Hegseth was never charged with any crimes because, as the report seems to indicate, there was not sufficient evidence to prove the allegations.

And yet, CNN anchor Dana Bash tried to use the report on Sunday to smear Hegseth.

Asking Mullin about the report, Bash — instead of framing the discussion around the lack of evidence and no criminal charges — centered the woman's allegations and claims against Hegseth.

Mullin immediately shut her down.

"Dana, if we're going to get into that, let's talk about the whole police report," he interjected.

"First of all, the police report, if you look at it, it's very clear that what Pete was saying, what his attorney was saying, was accurate," Mullin said. "There was no case here. He was falsely accused."

According to Mullin, the police report fortifies Hegseth's innocence because it says that multiple eyewitnesses identified the woman who accused Hegseth of assault as the "aggressor."

Surprisingly, Bash thanked Mullin for "giving that other side [of the story] for me." Still, she questioned how Mullin could believe Hegseth's story but not the accuser's.

"He wasn't charged. He wasn't even kind of charged in this. There was no crime committed," Mullin fired back. "The police dropped everything."

"What is unfortunate, in today's world, you can be accused of anything, and then especially if it's something like this, you're automatically assumed to be guilty," he added. "If you read the police report from cover to cover, which I have, and I know every reporter has, too, it is clear there was nothing there. There was clear (sic) that there was no crime committed."

NBC included the calculation in its article that called the $58.08 price tag for 10 people a "historically affordable" sum.

Many on social media responded that those statistics did not fit their personal experience this year as they shopped for the holiday dinner.

"It costs $60 for a family of 4 to eat at McDonalds. But NBC News wants you to believe that Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people is $58 - the most affordable in 40 years," said author John LeFevre.

"Total bulls***. You can't feed 10 people for $58.08 anywhere in the country." replied Georgia GOP committeewoman Amy Kremer.

"No one who buys groceries believes this," said commentator Dana Loesch.

"This is bulls***, of course. Carry on," responded Republican attorney Harmeet Dhillon.

"The Media still can't figure out why Americans can't trust the media. Does nobody at NBC News buy their own groceries? Do y'all have servants who go buy your groceries and you never see the bill?" read another response.

Why am I seeing so many of these stories on the news now?

"Trump tariffs will raise prices!"
"You'll be paying more because of Trump tariffs!"
"Walmart to increase prices because of Trump tariffs!"
"Trump tariffs will crash the economy!"

NOW the media is suddenly concerned about rising prices. The last four years, not so much.

Even with the most prominent news networks behind it, the Democratic Party still failed in its mission to instill widespread fear among Americans about the prospect of a second Trump administration.

So while the lights may still be on — for now — at the once-powerful media giants, Trump's landslide victory undoubtedly marks the greatest decline in their influence to date. The election results even prompted Elon Musk, a now-Trump supporter who voted predominantly Democrat in the past, to declare to the public, "You are the media now."

Whether the reporters at the legacy media outlets will continue with their bogeyman narratives of Trump throughout his upcoming presidency remains to be seen. Though this scenario seems the most likely, at least for the moment, this holiday season provides a brief respite from the fearmongering as these wildly out-of-touch networks evaluate their missteps and strategize on how to bail out their collective sinking ship.

So far, fresh out of Trump's win, the reaction from the corporate press and far-left reporters has notably been varied, with some trying to regain favor with the American audience and others doubling down on their hatred for Trump.
