Erica built SG, and even though it's no longer hers, I still associate the forum with Erica.

This is where I will respectfully agree to disagree, Fash.  I believe that everyone who participated by posting on that forum has helped build the forum community that is SG.  The people who are currently posting there are keeping it active and are as imperative as the owner who pays the bills and the physical site itself.  



Now there are various styles of ownership.  I preferred democracy while others prefer a dictatorship.  But I respected my partners and their opinions and knew that it was more important to compromise than get my own way every time.  I believe you have to think of it like running a lucratively successful business.

I don't think Fash is disagreeing with what you are saying. But, we do tend to associate a forum community with it's owner. If someone mentions MMP, your name immediately comes to mind. That doesn't mean a forum 's posters aren't the builders and maintainers.



Even after this forum's ownership is transferred to Cronus, some of us are likely to continue to associate this board with Fash. That doesn't negate the contributions of people like you and I who keep a forum going. But, I think even Cronus would acknowledge that his forum will be associated with Fash. And I think he is probably okay with that.

It's all good.  I'm a technical person, so I fixate on the little things, but I appreciate that you see my point.
