House GOP Leader Threatens to Oust Pelosi If She Attempts Impeachment



House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Sept. 23 threatened to introduce a motion to oust House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) if she attempts to impeach President Donald Trump or Attorney General William Barr to delay the Senate in confirming Trump's Supreme Court pick.



Pelosi on Sept. 20 was asked on ABC News about whether impeachment could be used as an option to prevent the Supreme Court nomination. She replied: "We have our options. We have arrows in our quiver that I'm not about to discuss right now."



McCarthy made mention of Pelosi's comment, saying Trump is correct in moving forward with a new Supreme Court justice nomination, which came after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death on Sept. 18.



"The president is supposed to move forward, and they will. The Senate is supposed to take the action, and they will—it's their constitutional right and they are following through," he told reporters in Washington.



"I will make you this one promise, listening to the speaker on television this weekend, if she tries to move for an impeachment based upon the president following the Constitution, I think there will be a move on the floor to have her no longer, or the question of her being speaker. She may think she has a quiver. We do, too."

It started before midnight election night (Eastern)  when the dominos  they counted on began to fall ... then we witnessed media people literally crying as it became apparent that "she" was going down in flames ...

The only thing I feel differently about is that I saw it as immediate .. well, ok, after they slowed the crying so they could speak



Raw Hate can be  a huge driver for those predisposed  .. they best be carefull  .. the overall situation is not very different than it was 4 years ago at this point in time .. except far more are induced to fib to the pollsters than last time .. and then there's the enthusiasm factor ... and I don't know how people showing up to vote  against someone holds up against those enthusiastically voting for a person and his ideas

Biden works a couple of hours a day if that while Trump works his ass off. Biden won't give interviews unless the press is friendly and he has questions in advance so his team can answer them for him. But, despite the lack of effort and a campaign, he is all but guaranteed victory.

Trump wasn't being blamed for the coronavirus pandemic last time. There will be fraud with mail in ballots and it will work in Biden's favour. I don't see how Trump can win again.

There are a few issues I disagree with the Trump administration.  But, there is nothing on which I agree with that empty shell Biden. From the economy to pandering to domestic terror to trade to international organizations, everything he supports is bad for Americans.

Trump told a group of Republican state attorneys general in September that he wants a nine-member Supreme Court as soon as possible in case the presidential election is litigated in the courts, USA Today reported.



"I think this will end up in the Supreme Court, and I think it's very important that we have nine Justices," Trump reportedly said. "I think having a 4-4 situation is not a good situation."



The 2000 presidential election was ultimately decided after the Supreme Court ruled that a Florida recount could not proceed. Confirming Barrett to the Supreme Court before November's election would allow a full bench to make a decision if the results are contested in the federal judiciary.
