It's considered a member of "Metro Vancouver" even though a fair distance away



and yes, is member of GVR I believe



Not sure why we are - we are quite south of Van. It takes over 1/2 an hour at freeway speed just to get to the south edge of Vancouver through mainly countryside boondocks (farms mainly).. and that's with no slowdowns (rare) and doesn't include getting to the freeway on our end



S Surrey and us are really like 1 although it is an official part of the City of Surrey & we are an independent city .. also both of us are very separated by a few miles of  countryside from Surrey .. S Surrey is very much White Rock"y" in character & really an extension of it .. pretty much our suburbs

I live in Surrey. Most people in my area are South Asian.
