I'm ok with paying $25 for a pair of toenail clippers. We need a combination of a few things so that we can make stuff here again. Some of it is repeal of emissions laws, some of it is tariffs, some of it is outright embargo.

I don't believe that Americans cannot make low tech products as cheap as China where they have five employees doing what one worker does in the States or Canada. Actually those low tech factories are all leaving China for Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.

I don't believe weaning ourselves off China will destroy certain industries. We will make our own and do it better.
