Yes. Messenger is my only motive to be there .. so I can reach my daughter to set up a phone call. She has not been well and often keeps phone off to sleep, but checks Messenger regularly

I have relatives and inlaws on three continents......Messenger is an inexpensive and easy way to stay in touch.
