Vancouver is a disaster waiting to happen. There are rumblings that one should be prepared like the little boy scout said. Ha ha ha  Richmond will be the first to go, no question.

They wont tell these residents the truth but dance around on tippy toes like drunken politicians and used car salesmen. Richmond will be the worst hit when this baby comes. A seduction quake is merciless, not just cracks in the roads, kiddies. Whole neigbourhoods sunken and filled in...an inrush of Fraser River water for sure. Forget about a tsunami, the rising water table will do the trick.

The point you are trying to make is moot, Vancouver Island will be tossed about like a Rag Doll..its called a Subduction Quake, The very type Peru just had, a 9 pointer.Do yourself a favour, see what this kind of quake can do, its not hard.

Yes, the island represents only as the crow flies distance from Vancouver. It may affect the water movement some, but do absolutely nothing to the shakes
