Turkey on the barbeque eh? That must be chewy. I aint ever had that. I've had deep fried turkey.

No, although we still have some of that last one in the freezer. Not sure what our son is fixing us but we are taking tamales with us. All I know for sure is he has the makings for Bloody Mary's which can almost be a meal with the celery and olives, if you drink enough. LOL
I've learned that if someone asks you a really stupid question and you reply by telling them what time it is, they'll leave you alone

Other people cooking for ya. Right on. My boy came to the farm, so we are doing the cooking. He brought weed, so that is more than enough.

You put the coals on each side (Indirect cooking, I think it's called) and put a half bottle of white wine in a baking tray. Then put enough quartered potato in the wine to keep the turkey from sitting in the liquid. Add herbs according to your taste. Put the baking tray in the Weber. Wait according to the size of the bird, et voila.



Moist and tender. Yummy potatoes. You can use other veggies if you wish.



We preferred to use Webers on Xmas Day so as not to heat up the house. Although that's less of an issue with AC in every home now, it's become a bit of a tradition to Weber up on the day.
