It's also the clearest demonstration of what that administration thinks of its voter base and those who are opposed to them. I put it to you that it's all being done on purpose, a kind of "we have the reins in our hands and you peons can't do a fucking thing about it, so nyah-ni-nyah-nyah". With a big fat old raspberry thrown in for good measure.



Time will tell, but after how blatantly our institutions have abused and infantilised us for te last few years I am not at all confident that we can beat them. We have the numerical superiority but are too disorganised to make it stick. Most people are still of the mindset it can be addressed by a change of administration to something that promises better. And we saw how the "something better" was demonized to give us this particular shit-show. We the people have proven pathetically easy to be coralled and sent charging downhill, all the while ignoring any warning signs that it can (and very likely will) get worse for us.

What do we do about it though? If we accept we can't beat it and they aren't exactly offering for us to join it, what then? Let them ride roughshod over us? Leave them to wallow in their own filth and try doing for ourselves for a change? Neither of those really appeal when you're in the habit of holding on to the comforts you've known, but one at least offers a chance at something better going forwards.

Harris is even more unpopular than Biden. What you are saying about Biden is plausible. I could see him gone after the midterms. But, I don't see Harris getting elected in 2024.

President Joe Biden made an embarrassing gaffe to U.S. soldiers in Poland, and the White House had to hastily issue a clarification on his comments to avoid international provocation.



Biden implied that the U.S. was sending troops into Ukraine when speaking on Friday to members of the Air Army's 82nd Airborne Division at Rzeszow, Poland, just 60 miles from the border with Ukraine.
