Adults can do whatever they want to themselves. If they left it at that this would not be such a polarizing issue. But, the hard left needs polarizing issues.

Identity politics has become an industry. Without issues to protest, resist, and fundraise off of the individuals and organizations whose income relies on a constant state of grievance and outrage would find themselves irrelevant and bankrupt.

No segment of the political spectrum is immune from this.
