I made passing reference to a few IP blocked messages back in my early days here, only to be told no bans had been placed. Which I knew to be a baldfaced lie, but okay. I knew I'd done nothing to warrant a ban, evading it was as simple as switching a VPN location and since the official story they were going with was "you're not banned" I simply ran with their narrative and let the matter drop.

I doubt it was directed at you. The former owner banned a bunch of IP's to keep out Melanie and Seadunce. It worked with Seadunce, but Melanie couldn't stay away from this place. This all started because he wasn't getting any attention at 2 am when he was drunk.

Which is probably another reason why they dropped the practice. I know initially Mel's was one of the names getting thrown about where I was concerned, but as I wasn't familir with the guy, I wasn't in a position to troll people by acting like him even if I'd been inclined to.



Only one person got it right, but they pretty much are in the habit of accusing every new poster of being me and calling for summary banning for that reason. Often they are wrong and have made an ass of themselves because of it, so nobody pays them any serious attention.
