I'm very very happy and my life is beautiful right now and God willing it will stay that way.

So when I see people like Murdock, and Oak and Shen wailing about what a trainwreck me and my life are its a bit more exciting and interesting for me than talking about stuff we are all already sharing the page on you know?

I disagree. Just because most, but not all of us are not progressives does not mean we agree on every single issue. For example, I disagree with DKG's naivete about Islam. I strongly disagree with Oerdin's opinion of America's role in the world. Obviously Lokmar and I don't have a lot in common politically. I am fairly sure you know what I am talking about.

That is just three examples. I could post more, but I think you get my point.

With the exception of Garraty, this is undeniable.

Like you, I enjoy discussing issues with people who oppose my traditional liberalism. I have tried to get people who are not part of the choir to post here. Biggie knows that. But, most of them will not venture outside their safe zones. And when they have they have been trolling flyovers like Gremlin and Lotusbud. Oak, didn't do that during her brief time here.

I would not even consider posting at BF unless the unstable owner gave up that forum and walked away from it.

It seems that few people that claim the modern liberal banner are confident enough in their knowledge of issues to defend what they believe in. Hence, they stick to places like BF and the now 404 CBT where memes are considered quality posts.
