The Forum Gossip thread has morphed into a discussion of faith. I guess religion is one of the few topics that trumps gossip.

Bastard Factory seems to have transitioned into a forum that is mainly filled with variations on the "What are you having for dinner?", "What is the last thing you purchased?", "Coke or Pepsi?", "Post one word", ect...With BF being that mind numbingly boring, it appears most of the gossip has dried up.

The only way for BF to boost post count at this point is probably another round of bans.

There might be some way to jazz up announcements of which dusty old threads got bumped today but honestly I can't think of one. That sounds like a job for someone with way more imagination than myself... or simply a burning passion for boring people senseless.

I presume that's supposed to be improving forum *postcount* because simply moving shoutbox content into the forum sections proper is the exact opposite of "improving" them.

I don't recall anything about a "Chat City".
I do remember a proprietary IRC called TalkCity; one couldn't even connect to their servers unless one used their app for the interface. As memory serves I preferred to use mIRC for my IRC needs so I tended to avoid TalkCity and I'm left with the impression that I didn't believe I was missing out on much.

Given all that I'll have to take your word on the comparison to the BF shoutbox.
