I'm not his best buddy or some secret e-agent, coming here to poach members, but folks have a tendency of believing whatever they want, so meh. 

I don't think anyone believes you'd be able to convince the members here to walk away from this forum to go post exclusively over at Bastard Factory. That's a decision they're more than capable of making for themselves and I'm fairly certain most or all of them already have.

You think? I thought passwords were encrypted within the SMF database and not even visible to admins.

He probably doesn't have your password as passwords in most of these apps are one way hashed and salted and are therefore irreversible. More than likely there's some kind of mod that allows an admin to impersonate any user and ties their posts to the original at the database level

I've probably said this before but...

My issue with @BF isn't that he banned me; that was just the last straw.

When CW, Raven, and I were putting together an image resource kit (banners, templates, etc.) for BF he was cordial, even accommodating, with me. We had open and non-combative (I thought) discussions about the forum and its subs including why I chose the one(s) I did and what, if anything, I hoped to influence with my participation. He also occasionally asked me to do a little work on one of his animated banners and I pitched in where I could.

We weren't pals or partners but I was given the impression that we certainly weren't antagonists either.

Until he apparently decided we were, publicly, and with zero context or reason.

Despite that I still didn't see or treat him as an "enemy" or whatever. I never tried to undermine him or his forum and for the most part simply ignored him but that became impossible the day I was banned simply for not kissing his ass.

I haven't vowed never to poast there again and don't care if someone does.

However I feel no inclination to reward a bipolar fuckhead with fascistic tendencies by logging onto his forum and spending any time/effort there. "Never say never" as they say but I say "highly fucking unlikely" and will just leave it at that.

Exactly, no point putting in effort for that addled ungrateful deadbeat.  Forums are about the poasters not the admins.
