Quote from: Lab Flaker on May 20, 2026, 10:53:36 PMIt had to be members of Gen Y or Z that threatened to sue you for sure... those entitled little shits or clueless when it comes to the how the judiciary actually works or if they even have enough pocket money to see their phantom case through.

Probably GenXers actually... a bit younger than me but not by a whole lot.
This was late 1990s early 2000s and they were already adults.

I think one or more were for "defamation" because I told them a few accurate things about themselves that they weren't prepared to read, and one was a cease-and-desist over a section of my website in which I archived a stash of their less-than-flattering poasts.

Needless to say after telling them to go fuck themselves a few times nothing ever came of any of it. If any of them did contact lawyers I imagine they would have been laughed out of the office within five minutes.

I guess there are some weak Gen X's around.
In Australia the lawyers would more than likely tell them to harden the fuck up. Nothing worse than a bunch of pansies choking up the courts with their hurt feelings.

May 27 of this year will be the fifth anniversary of the shocking announcement that the unmarked graves of 215 missing children had been found on the grounds of the former Kamloops Indian Residential School. But the announcement turned out to be a nothing-burger. On the third anniversary, the band's leadership admitted that ground penetrating radar (GPR) had found only "soil anomalies" that were "potential" graves.

Quote from: Lab Flaker on May 20, 2026, 11:02:49 PMThere are quite a few variants of the same or similar instrument, but either way, there's nothing more soothing than a stringed Oriental (I said it) vibe.

Sprung Monkey did a cover of "turning Japanese" back in '93, and I thought that the opening riff was fantastic...

They changed the song Lab Flaker.....they made it heavier.

I can't poast this *at* BF without letting the cat entirely out of the bag so I'll have to hope Prowler sees or gets forwarded this Vocaroo. Maybe it'll help clear up a few things for him, or maybe it'll only confirm (in his mind) conclusions he's reached about certain things. Nothing I can do about any of that either way so without further ado...
