I forget to post this yesterday. But, I have good excuse. I was drunk.
It was on October 20 1977 that Lynyrd Skynyrd's  Convair CV-240 bound for Baton Rouge, Louisiana, went down  northeast of Gillsburg, Mississippi.

Killed on impact were Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines, along with backup singer Cassie Gaines (Steve's older sister), assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick, pilot Walter McCreary and co-pilot John Gray. Other band members (Collins, Rossington, Wilkeson, Powell, Pyle, and Hawkins), tour manager Ron Eckerman, and several road crew members suffered serious injuries.

Their latest album Street Survivors had just been released about week before the deadly plane crash. This is the first release from that album.

Live Evil is the double live album by Dio-era Black Sabbath. It was released in the U.K. on December 1, 1982.

This is an excellent live version of Heaven and Hell.
