Thanks for the introduction to The Hu, Shen Li. I'd never heard of them, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

For those of you who may not know, The Hu is a Mongolian folk rock band, according to Wikipedia. In addition to the traditional instrumentation, the throat singing is especially interesting to me.

I'll reciprocate with a band I expect you've never heard. O-Hum is from Iran and has been pumping out music since 1998. The name means "illusions."  This is the first number of theirs I heard and I like it:
