that is mainly for washed up celebs or wrasslers who charge flat fees to sign stuff using the internet



the cast of the walking dead would send you an autograph if you wrote the film set, but then as the series got more popular the stars stopped signing thru the mail and instead charged people 40 bucks at conventions.  That is why you write for autographs when a series you like starts because as it gets more popular they usually stop signing.
