Name Retention

I've traditionally struggled regarding name retention with casual contacts...and if the period of non recollection exceeds more than a few years, forget them pretty quickly.



Apparently we're suited for about 150 names or so but it can go into the thousands.



I was up to 1500 names in immediate recall face to face in work capacity and 10 years later lucky to recall 100 of those... yet I remember all old friends, crushes, partners, and relatives...



So how many can you do?



I'd be lucky to recall 250-300....

I'm bad with name retention, but I have a great photographic memory. I have a tendency to forget a person's name even on introduction.
