It's a bloody conundrum!

I know it is. Making cuts is never enjoyable.

I just paid a 669.03 bill for my May electric usage

That said, I live in a 4200 sq foot home with 6 bedrooms, a private office, 2 living rooms, an Olympic size swimming pool and an 8 person whirlpool spa  -- so I can afford it. But how does the average soul make ends meet under these outrageous prices?

went to Applebees yesterday after shopping for deck screws at Home depot and do ya'll remember the 2 for 20 deal? It's now 2 for 28 WITH portion sizes reduced!

and those deck screws? In November of 2020 when I built the deck for my whirlpool spa they were 6.58 for a 1lb box --- yesterday those same screws were 9.98

I'm stressing out from the amount of money that I'm giving away! I've been sending money back to Africa and now I'm also paying family dental bills. It's making me want to curb my spending. Charity is like bad juju in the long run.

We just gave away like 120 billion dollars and people here are starving

This is a brand new government and it's already costing the taxpayers this? That's not a democracy!

I know some Filipinos who send money home who are facing similar choices.

That works both ways. I know Chinese students in Canada that receive money from their parents in China. They have inflation there too.

With the money that involved in fixing up this trailor .....we have started seriously looking at houses. Mostly handy man deals that need more cosmetic work than anything.

We also found out there is no way to move this thing even if we reinforce everything. It's too old. So we are selling it either way.

Everything is stupid high. The sorts of property that were in the 150k range a few years ago are up over 200k. Which may not sound like much to those in pricey areas but I'm talking about the Michigan boonies lol
My happiness is all of your misery. I put good dick all in my kidneys.

Apparently there are no places for cheap homes anywhere in Canada anymore or so I've been told.

We are gonna go and look at a few that are under 150k and only need cosmetic work.....they are all dated.

I actually prefer that though because I can do it how I like it.

We will see what happens. We need to make sure my mother has an area to herself. Like her own bathroom and safety equipment and all that. Shes only gonna get worse as she gets older and we are keeping her until she dies....we want her to have her own space she can relax in and feel safe in.

It is all relative.

House in New Brunswick are about 50% the price of a similar house where I live in Ontario.

They are probably 25% of the price in Vancouver.

But is has gone up everywhere as far as I can tell.

Inflation is walloping Americans in the wallet on a multitude of consumer goods. Sky-high inflation will cost American families an extra $5,520 a year, according to an economic analyst from one of President Joe Biden's favorite financial outlets.

Only 28% of American voters approve of President Biden's handling of inflation, according to an ABC News/Ipsos poll released this week.

Of those surveyed, 80% said inflation would be an "extremely/very important" factor on how they will vote in the midterm elections. Another 74% said gas prices will affect how they vote in November.

Over $5500 a year. Is Biden worth it. I would say hell no.
