Yes, my feels have suffered irreparable damage and now I must sulk in a dark room with a 'Portishead' CD on repeat at full volume.

I hope you're proud of yourself.

 I love Portishead lol

 Crank it up, V

Roads is their best song.... it sounds mesmerising in a moving vehicle due to some tricky mastering....

 I love Portishead lo

I like them too.

They were just the first "dark" music I could think of that people might have actually heard of before.

I considered 'Skinny Puppy' and 'Bauhaus' but most of their beats are a bit too fast to really fit the theme of the post.

I heard of both of them, but I don't know any songs.

I don't listen to much 'Skinny Puppy' these days but I'll pop in a 'Bauhaus' CD now and then.

Bauhaus' first studio album 'In The Flat Field' is pretty good, and 'The Sky's Gone Out' has some great songs too.

'Burning From the Inside' has probably gotten the most play for me, though.

A friend's sister was getting a ride with us when I tossed in that CD and she said the song 'She's In Parties' made her feel like she was tripping.

I might check them out. And you still have CD's.

I still have a couple of tall stacks of CDs.

I've also ripped almost all of them to MP3s though.

I still have CD's.  Anything I especially enjoy is on CD.  So, a lot of CD's.

 So do I lol.

My oldest daughter recently told me that I should get rid of them since they just take up space. Between my husband and I we have like 6 books full.

We never play them but it's a nostalgia thing.
My happiness is all of your misery. I put good dick all in my kidneys.

Cd's would survive a nuclear war or EMP's.... but the devices to play them on and the power behind them, not so much.... unless you shielded these things in an insulated and sealed metal box.... or just got really lucky.
Blahhhhhh...
