Getting Ready For Florida!!!!

I have been going to Florida every winter for over fifteen years. I used to go to the Gulf side all the way from Naples up to Cedar Key. The last few years I have stuck to the panhandle. I love Florida. My favourite place on this continent.

I'm getting ready to head back down to Florida for a week. Of course I'll be bringing plenty of weapons and ammo so I can burn a few days at Shooters World!!! We keep spending time shooting handguns and other short range stuff that we've never had time to shoot my 300 Win Mag. I'm looking forward to my son in laws reaction to it! I also hope to spend time shooting my AR-10!



Some of my favorites are my Python 357 mag, 44 mag Desert Eagle, and my 44 mag Anaconda. None of them are practical but damn! They sure are fun!



My other favorite is having lunch at The Lucky Dill! Best Jew Deli period!

It must be very unbearably humid & hot in Florida right now.



It's around 85 F in Vancouver and it feels too warm.



I even saw some Floridians in Vancouver yesterday



They must be trying to escape their own heat.

Florida always was a desirable state to live in. The governor and the sheriff are making it paradise.

Florida has its high points but I wouldn't wanna live there.



Good for the odd vacation in January Feb when it gets too cold wet or snowy in Canada.



If I was in Ontario I'd spend 3 to 4 months a year in Florida just to escape their winters.



Lucky we got more options on the West Coast & don't need to travel nearly as far to get warmth & sunshine.



Ontario and all those eastern states only have Florida as their nearest sun destination

Florida is near perfect. Everybody knows about the great beaches and weather. But, it is also a land of opportunity. It has a government that puts the interests of the people first. That is kind of rare in a woke world.
