I've enjoyed it so far, and not simply for the familial connection. I'm probably not the best person to offer unbiased comment, but I am seeing a goodly measure of expert storytelling in the first five episodes and keen to see how it develops.

Ok, good to hear your view.  I just dislike TV shows which unnecessarily and artificially inject modern politics into the writing.  I see watching TV as a bit of escapism so the last thing I want is a bunch of contrived political messages.

Other than the interracial coupling, I don't see anything woke, thankfully. This show gets scandalous lol

The male characters in these Woke-shows are usually weak, pathetic beta-males who "know their place"..



Just so that the female lead can shine.





But they seem to be letting Daemon shine in this one... And Rhaenyra is acting feminine.
