There's another dot to connect, maybe they got to it after the clip ended. Namely, transgenders are rendered sterile by nature of their medicines and surgeries. Which suits the whole "we need to reduce the world's population" crowd just fine. And for as long as they can effectively neuter any opposition from parents (if not socially engineering them out of the equation entirely), they add yet another layer of control over an increasingly depleted oppositionary force to their hegemony.
Interestingly enough, the arguments made between 0'56" and 1'36" can be largely applied to other arbitrarily defined ideologies, giving rise to groups like the LGB community whose distaste for the authoritarian nature of transgender and minor-attracted persons (pedophiles) would appear in lockstep with a great many of the political right.
And instead attract the most authoritarian of that number to call for not only their execution, but the arbitrary punishment of anyone that casts light on it.
