Jackie Chan has the reputation of being like a Chinese Gene Simmons. He will lend his name to any product or take any silly role, so long as it has a good payday.

It's most likely the movies. I'm not a big fan of martial arts movies and I'm also not a big fan of slap stick. Putting the two together is a total waste of my time.



I don't know what his movies are like overseas but the ones that are made for American audiences are IMHO unwatchable schlock.
