The White House was not happy that a reporter dared to ask on Wednesday about a recent poll showing that a majority of Americans think President Joe Biden is "corrupt."



At the daily press briefing, New York Post reporter Steven Nelson confronted John Kirby with information dripping from congressional investigations into the Biden family.



"There is one committee trying to get an FBI file alleging that President Biden took bribes. There's another IRS whistleblower who's alleging there's a cover-up in the investigation," he explained. "There's, of course, evidence that the president interacted with his relative's associates from China, Mexico, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine."



Nelson asked, "So what do you say to the majority of Americans who believe that the president is himself corrupt?"



The reporter cited a Harvard/Harris poll, which earlier this month found that 53% of Americans — a slim majority, but a majority still — believe Biden was involved in "an illegal influence peddling scheme" with his son, Hunter Biden.



Kirby was left awestruck that Nelson asked the question, while press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tried to stop Kirby from answering it.



"Wow," Kirby responded.



"No, we got to wrap this up," Jean-Pierre interjected after muttering "Jesus" under her breath upon hearing the question.

FBI Director Christopher Wray will allow congressional investigators to view a document related to alleged criminal activity involving President Joe Crow Joe.



Last month, the House Oversight Committee demanded that Wray turn over a copy of an FBI document that allegedly shows evidence that Biden, as vice president, was engaged in a "criminal bribery scheme" that involves "an exchange of money for policy decisions."



According to Fox News, the FBI will bring the document in question to Capitol Hill on Monday. Only House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the ranking member on the committee, will be allowed to view the document. The document will be kept in a SCIF, a secured environment for viewing sensitive — most often, highly classified — information.



News of the planned document viewing comes after Wray offered to bring the document to Capitol Hill in a phone call with Comer on Wednesday.

The Republican National Committee on Friday announced relatively stringent limits on who can participate in the first 2024 presidential primary debate, posing a potential challenge for several long-shot contenders.



The RNC, the Republican Party's governing body, will also require all attendees to support the eventual Republican nominee, the body said on Friday. The pledge requirement is notable as former President Donald Trump, who leads in the polls, has neither promised to support a nominee, nor has he confirmed he will attend the debates.

Former FBI Director James Comey emphatically endorsed President Joe Biden's re-election campaign on Sunday.



Speaking with MSNBC host Jen Psaki, Comey argued Biden is the only logical candidate to win the election because he is a politician who unequivocally abides by the law and Constitution. ac_lmfao



Comey's argument fell on deaf ears.



After all, Biden himself became the subject of a classified documents scandal earlier this year when sensitive documents — including some rumored to be so highly classified that they were only supposed to be viewed in a SCIF — in his post-vice presidential office. Then, investigators found more documents at Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware, some of which were reportedly from Biden's tenure in the U.S. Senate.

Scholar and progressive activist Cornel West announced Monday he is running for president next year as a third-party candidate, saying he wants to empower people who have been "pushed to the margins."



In a Twitter video, West said he will run as a member of The People's Party. He criticized both major political parties and their standard bearers, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.



West is a well known Black scholar and author and a former professor at Harvard and Princeton universities. He criticized former President Barack Obama as a "war criminal," and supported Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont, a democratic socialist, in his presidential bids in 2016 and 2020.



On his campaign website, West says he wants to end wars, disband NATO, forgive all student debt, expand Social Security and invest in clean energy.

Presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says that he'd end the Russo–Ukrainian conflict as soon as possible if he were elected president.



Asked how he would handle the war, Kennedy said quickly, "I would end it. The Russians want to end it."



To do this, Kennedy said he'd call for enforcement of the Minsk Accords, which sought to provide a peaceful settlement of territorial disputes between Russia and Ukraine.
