A Georgia lawmaker filed a resolution on Friday to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, accusing her of various acts of "malfeasance, tyrannical partiality, and oppression."

State Rep. Charlice Byrd, a Republican, said in a Jan. 26 statement that she has introduced H.R. 872, a resolution to vote on impeachment charges against Ms. Willis, who brought a high-profile election interference case against former President Donald Trump that he has denounced as politically-driven.

Accusing Ms. Willis of suffering from "Trump Derangement Syndrome," Ms. Byrd alleged that the Fulton County DA used her office not to pursue justice but for political gain.

Wow, an Obama appointed federal judge rules that DEI is anti-white racism and creates a hostile work environment so workers can sue and companies can be fined for engaging in it.

In the not too distant future, the US will be paying more in interest charges on it's debt than they will to the Pentagon.

The shit will be collapsing. Today, tomorrow, 10 years from now....who knows. People wont be down for the debt slavery forever.

The so called "compromise bill" proposed on the Senate is the single worst bill I have ever heard of. Supposedly it trades military air to Ukraine (something badly needed and which I support as Russia winning would be a historic disaster that WILL lead to more future wars) for supposedly securing the border.  Only it doesn't secure the border and makes open borders the law while preventing any future president closing the border.

1) A Biden can have 5000 a day at the border before any controls are enforced.

2) it prevents any future president from takin g action until at least 4000 illegals a day cross the border.

3) It makes it perfectly legal for any illegal alien to simply fly into any US airport and claim asylum even without any visa.  Current law is they can't even fly here without a visa.

It just makes open borders the law of the land and prevents any president from actually enforcing the law.  So Republicans get nothing out of this so called deal.  If a real deal which ends asylum claims or at least makes it so they cannot enter the US unless the claim is first proved in court AND forces the feds to close the border then that would be a fair deal.

So many scammers making money off the illegal alien migrants.  The fake asylum seekers don't have work permits (but they do get free welfare as official "asylum seekers") so unethical people rent them illegal mopeds for $300 per week, the mopeds cost just $1000, but the don't register the mopeds because then the owner would have to pay fines if renters commit traffic violations. So no plates for the cameras to send fines to.  Also, the illegals use food delivery apps to make money but legally they cannot do so because they do not have a bank account, a social security number or work authorization so criminals who do have legal papers let them use their I.D. to make deliveries.  The criminal with papers sets the tax withholdings to 50% or even 66% so they get the money back when they file their yearly tax returns.

It is one big organized crime ring, a real house of cards, but what can you expect other than this crime and exploitation when you let 8 million illegals alien criminals into the country?

Nikki Haley and the Never-Trumpers who have rallied to her have no message to match what Trump offers.

https://www.theblaze.com/columns/opinion/nikki-haleys-biggest-blunders?utm_source=theblaze-breaking&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20240129TrendingMorning&utm_term=ACTIVE%20LIST%20-%20TheBlaze%20Breaking%20News&tpcc=email-breaking
Although Nikki Haley is an articulate, highly presentable political performer, she also seems clueless about what drives most Republican voters in 2024. This is equally true of her donors, including Reid Hoffman, the usually reliable Democratic sugar daddy who this year took a chance on the former South Carolina governor. All of them want a return to "normalcy," as they define the term, which means a more stable version of what we now have, without quite so much turmoil on the southern border and, of course, with a rising stock market.

Haley's persistent complaint about Donald Trump is that he'll bring "chaos," which Nikki and her donors certainly do not want. She is also concerned that Trump "tried to buddy up to dictators," whereas Haley wants to fight these distant baddies and shower their liberated subjects with state-of-the-art "human rights."

Unfortunately, most Republican voters don't want these goodies. In fact, they have no problem with "chaos" if that means draining the swamp, going after the "fake media," and making Trump's enemies pay for weaponizing the government against them.

When pollsters asked Republican voters in New Hampshire what they expect a Republican administration to do to improve the political situation, the overwhelming response was "curb immigration and overhaul the federal government." Those who took this position must have known the price they would pay for the "overhaul" would be contending with the deep state, the Democratic National Committee, and quite possibly mobs incited by the media and financed by woke capitalists.

Different priorities
What these voters most clearly don't want is what Nikki Haley, Reid Hoffman, the Wall Street Journal, and Mitch McConnell want to give them: a fine-tuned, less malicious version of the government now in power together with military crusades against "dictators."

Trump voters have a very different priority, which is fighting and defeating the woke, globalist, Green New Deal dictatorship under which they live at home.

For those of us (and here I include myself) who may have wondered why all those millions of fans who attend his rallies cheer Trump even when he rants on about personal grievances and even when he crudely insults rivals, the answer is quite simple. Trump is "fighting" for those who are cheering his words. He lets us know that he is being reviled by the media and bombarded with lawfare because he "stands in the way" of those who are coming after "the American people" — i.e., his voters.

His voters are the decent, hardworking, church-attending Americans who come to his rallies and who shiver in the cold, listening on loudspeakers, if they can't make it into the auditorium. Because Trump is there and fighting for them, his MAGA supporters will be protected against their most venomous foes in both the media and deep state.

Personally, I like chaos and gridlock in Washington. If the only thing Trump does in his second term is break government, I'm all for it!

I want results. On the border in particular. Then he can stop asking congress for more money for that Jew prick Zelenskyy.

I'd like that too, but for 30 years, all I see is creep to the left. A stalemate would be a good start.

If Russia wins then that would be a disaster.  We have to at least make sure Ukraine has ammo to fire.

I dont know about anyone else but I'm torn by all this BS. I hate Zelenski, Putin, and Biden. I agree that allowing Russia a win is a bad idea too. However, I dont think its practical to expect Russia is going to retreat to its pre war borders. Thats essentially suicide for Putin and I think he'd risk WW3 first.
