Carney will win. It will not be anybody who supported Justine.

No tariffs on Canada and Mexico yet. I have heard they are coming February 1.

More than 1,500 Americans are celebrating the end of a prosecutorial nightmare now that President Donald Trump has pardoned or commuted the sentences of those charged with offenses related to the protest at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

On Monday evening, just a few hours after taking the oath of office for the second time in eight years, Trump issued a "full, complete and unconditional" blanket pardon for most Jan. 6 defendants, whom Trump called political "hostages." Those who will benefit from such a pardon number more than 1,500, according to estimates.

Outgoing President Joe Biden has issued a flurry of last-minute pardons for individuals who ran afoul of incoming President Donald Trump.

On Monday, just hours before leaving the Oval Office, Biden issued pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired Gen. Mark Milley, and members of the House committee who allegedly investigated January 6 as well as some Capitol and D.C. Metro police officers who testified before the committee. According to the AP, Biden worried that Trump might seek "revenge" on these individuals.

Trump withdrew the States from the Paris climate treaty.

"We're going to save over a trillion dollars by withdrawing from that treaty," Trump said.

"So we have more oil and gas than any country in the world, and we're going to use it. We're not going to do the wind thing ... big, ugly windmills. They ruin your neighbourhood. They ruin you," he said, blaming wind power for the deaths of 28 whales in a single year in New England.

"'Gladys, I'm sorry. The wind is just not blowing. We're not watching Trump tonight,'" he said, hamming it up before announcing the country's abrupt exit from the Paris Climate Accord, noting Biden had said the pact was important for America's standing in the world.

Any Democratic administration would have pardoned Dr Fauci. If he faced a trial, it would be very damaging for the party.
gay, conservative and proud

Interesting how the Pardon's Biden gave to Fauci and Biden family members goes back to 2014.  Almost like it is a road map on where to look for more of their crimes.

The Trump administration issued a memo on Tuesday directing all federal diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) employees to be put on paid leave as agencies work to dismantle DEI initiatives. President Donald Trump issued an executive order shortly after his inauguration aimed at eliminating DEI-focused policies and programs within the federal government.

The memo, sent by the Office of Personnel Management, directs agencies to place DEI employees on paid leave by 5 p.m. on Jan. 22 and to remove all websites and social media accounts associated with DEI initiatives by the same time. Federal agencies are required to cancel all DEI-related training programs and terminate any contractors involved in the initiatives.

The memo also directs agencies to compile a list of federal DEI offices and staff working in those offices as of Nov. 5, 2024, and to submit a plan for executing a "reduction-in-force action" against those workers to the Office of Personnel Management by Jan. 31.

A coalition of 22 state attorneys general and two cities have filed lawsuits seeking to block President Donald Trump's executive order denying citizenship to children born in the United States to illegal immigrants and other non-citizens. All but two of the 22 plaintiff states are led by Democrat governors.

Trump's order, issued shortly after he assumed office on Jan. 20, claims that the Fourteenth Amendment's Citizenship Clause does not universally grant citizenship to everyone born in the United States. One of the complaints, filed on Jan. 21 at the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, alleges that Trump's Jan. 20 order to end birthright citizenship violates the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Section 1401 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.

Under the Democrats and the old Republican party it was always what is good for rich globalists is good for Americans. That was bs that made the working class not vote. We are back and we have somebody who has our backs.
